Our founder, Tom Drachman, has had a passion for pit bulls from a young age. He was struck by their intelligence, loyalty, and affection toward their owners. However, he also saw the negative perception of the breed and the misconceptions that surrounded them. He knew he wanted to do something to change that, and that's how Pittie Choy was born. The brand name is inspired by Tom's own Pittie Choy, a female Pitbull who was adopted and rescued. She was a symbol of the loving and loyal nature of pit bulls and the driving force behind the brand's mission.
